Our products are made from natural wood. As such, each piece of timber has its own unique coloration and grain pattern, and may include knots, cracks, and minor splits. During the carving process, unforeseen imperfections within the material, such as cracks, discoloration, or knots, may become apparent.
These are characteristics inherent to natural materials and should not be considered defects.

Even when such flaws become apparent, they can often be incorporated as part of the sculpture's design or addressed by adjusting the carving area.

At Osaka Kirakuya, we meticulously select each material with the discerning eye of a craftsman before delivering it to our customers. However, it is not possible to fully predict the internal condition of the material.
